Ruling gives green light for over 100 new homes

Ardstone Homes, the property company led by the former Friends First executive Donal Mulcahy, has been given permission to build more than 100 houses in Kildare.

The company was granted planning permission for a scheme at Kilcullen Road, near Naas, where it plans to build 125 units, about of third of which will be two-storey, terraced houses. A further third will be semi-detached and the rest will be a mix of housing types, including a four-storey block of flats.

The project was approved by the local council despite opposition from dozens of local residents who submitted appeals against it to An Bord Pleanála.
